Painters Savoyards / Julien Bouvier

Julien Bouvier (1913-1973) - Born in Paris in 1913, at the age of 10 months this orphan of war becomes Savoyard. His mother remarried and became Mrs. Michellier. His father and grandfather were cabinetmakers of art. At the age of 12, he entered the studio of the painter Jean Bugnard. Julien received Bouvier is the first in the competition for admission to the School of Applied Arts in Paris which will be student for four years. Life during this time, illustrations dictionaries and catalogues and advertising drawings. If Paris is a city attractive, it lacks the Savoie and it is very quickly settle permanently in Chambéry. Member of TCAM and Caf, he painted landscapes that surrounds him during his walks for the complete later in his workshop. He especially likes Chamonix and the chain Belledonne. Starting from 1938, he exhibited at fairs of the SSBA. It also outlines to the gallery and Duncan Raspail in Paris as well as in numerous other art galleries closed. He exercised his art through oils, gouaches, sepias, drawings and watercolors. His painting is rich in color. It does not have a defined range and can be carried by his instincts. His talent as a draughtsman gives his works accuracy of a trait which makes all its artistic compositions balanced.
