Painters Savoyards / Charles Cuzin
Charles Cuzin (1907-1975) - Born in Croissy-sur-Seine in 1907, he discovered the painting when he learned his craft in Paris and coach when their account is established. This profession allows him to meet other artists and numerous works contemplate. It follows parallel courses at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1936, he left the capital to settle in Savoie in the town of Aix-les-Bains. He continues to perform as qu'encadreur. However, it has other more artistic activities. He took part in the restoration of paintings, including those of the scene of Chambery. It sets sometimes wine cellars or he painted frescoes in the chapel of Myans. Became a full-fledged painter, having the move safely and recognition evident in the local art world, it is committed during the years 1949 and 1950 to teach drawing at the College of Aix-les-Bains. His pallette painting is characterized by dark and cold tuna. He likes the gray, black and white. He likes to paint snowy landscapes and skies tormented announcing new snowfall. He paints mostly with a brush, meticulous painter, he relishes small touches.
